Every official trailer and media drop, in order, with what each one actually shows.
Trailer timeline
Rockstar's page hosts three trailers. Only the launch trailer has a date in the page's news list; the earlier two are labelled but undated there.
| Trailer | Date | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Launch trailer | October 15, 2026 | Jason and Lucia, Leonida, the final tone before release |
| Trailer 2 | Not dated on the page | Wider cast and locations |
| Trailer 1 | Not dated on the page | Setting, tone, first look |
Dates come from Rockstar's GTA VI page; undated entries are marked rather than guessed.

Watching them in order
Trailer 1 sells the place, Trailer 2 widens the cast, and the launch trailer is the one to watch last: it assumes you already know who Jason and Lucia are.
If you are deciding whether to buy, the launch trailer is the most useful three minutes on the page, because it is the closest to the finished game.

Screenshots, artwork and music
Rockstar's page links a media and artwork download section for official videos, screenshots and art — the only place where assets are both high resolution and licensed for sharing on Rockstar's terms.
On the music side, the page promotes the in-game radio lineup and GTA VI: The Album for pre-order, with a preview of selected tracks.

What each trailer does not tell you
None of the three states a map size, a mission count, a frame rate or an online mode. Trailers are marketing: they establish tone and characters, not specifications.
Treat frame-rate-revealed-in-trailer style headlines as inference unless Rockstar publishes the number.

What to look for in the launch trailer
A launch trailer is the last marketing beat before release, so it usually answers tone and cast and avoids specifications. Watch for three things: how much of the world is shown beyond Vice City, whether the Jason and Lucia dynamic is the spine of the story, and whether any UI or gameplay system is visible at all.
If a trailer shows no inventory, no map and no mission structure, that is normal — and it is also why this site does not infer systems from footage.
