The PC status tracked signal by signal: nothing announced, how long Rockstar usually takes, and what would count as confirmation.
The short answer
No PC version of GTA 6 has been announced. Rockstar's GTA VI page lists PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, and no PC store page, date or system requirement has been published anywhere official.
If you searched for "GTA 6 PC" and found a date, it is either a guess, a datamine, or a repost of one. The tracker below is what we can actually verify.

PC status tracker
Each row is a signal that would move the PC question forward. All of them are currently empty.
| Signal | Status | Checked |
|---|---|---|
| PC listed on Rockstar's GTA VI page | No | 2026-10-25 |
| Steam store page | No | 2026-10-25 |
| Epic Games Store page | No | 2026-10-25 |
| PC release date announced | No | 2026-10-25 |
| Official statement about a PC version | None found | 2026-10-25 |
| System requirements published | No | 2026-10-25 |
A signal only counts when it appears on an official Rockstar or platform store page.

Why PC players expect a wait
Rockstar ships consoles first, then PC. Two recent examples set the expectation:
| Game | Console launch | PC launch | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grand Theft Auto V | September 2013 | April 2015 | ~18 months |
| Red Dead Redemption 2 | October 2018 | November 2019 | ~13 months |
Past gaps are context, not a schedule — no GTA 6 PC date has been announced.

How to tell a real PC announcement
Three signals, in order of strength: a PC platform line on Rockstar's GTA VI page, a Steam or Epic store page, or a Rockstar Newswire post naming a PC date.
Anything else — a datamined DLL, a retailer placeholder, a "PC version leaked" video — is not an announcement. When one of the three appears, this page is rewritten the same day and the update log records it.

What the community is asking
The demand is visible on Bilibili, where PC speculation outperforms most analysis: a video titled "this is why GTA 6 still is not out" has 343万 views, and PS5-related videos asking whether PC is possible reach six figures.
View counts show demand, not evidence. That gap is exactly why this page tracks signals instead of repeating claims.

What happens when it is announced
When a PC version is confirmed, this page changes in a fixed order: the signal tracker gets the date it appeared, the platform matrix on the console page moves PC from "not announced", and the update log records the change. Until then the answer stays the same, and any article claiming otherwise is ahead of the only source that matters.
